Rights Don't Stop Bullets

One of the biggest memes perpetuated in modern society is that of rights. A concept that almost every developed society recognizes is in reality a fake construct to give people the illusion of safety and passify them.

The primary reason I don't believe in the validity of rights is simple physics. Rights are supposed to be a tool to protect people from human transgression but rely on people believing those rights to actually adhere to them. If someone simply doesn't believe in those rights, then those rights do nothing to protect someone unless there is another force protecting them whether it be the government, security, or simply self-defense. This is why rights shouldn't be treated as this all mighty societal force of protection. The only real protection is that of another physical force protecting you. Your 'right' to live and not be murdered means nothing to someone that fully intends and tries to kill you. Your rights offer no protection, only another force fighting back or defending against the attacker does.

Rights rely entirely on a memetic virus infecting an entire society to be of any use. And even then, it takes just one person with the will to violate those rights. If a group of people obtain new rights, it doesn't protect them from those that reject those rights. Sure infringing on those rights would lead to penalties but even then that still requires an acceptance of the law and the force to enact punishment. The entirety of this concept relies on who has the greater force and even then you can infringe on someone's rights before a greater force acts upon you in retaliation. It is just a game of force.

You will never hear me say "I support X rights.". Even if I agree with the person, group, or concept, I never use this language. I support the freedom and liberation of things, not their rights. If people are using force to enact their will upon you, calling for rights won't save you. Only defense will. Force. Having rights means force will be enacted upon those that violated those rights so if you believe that then you should be willing to be the one to use that force. I have no respect for those, including the causes I agree with, calling for rights and calling for the better treatment, change, or whatever if they aren't willing to use defensive force against those that want their freedoms taken. If a group of people is being discriminated against, especially by a greater society, calling for rights and better treatment won't fix anything. If others are truly enacting force upon you, you must use greater force.

People seem to have been pacified with this stuff. When people literally want harm done to a group or type of people, it's often "We need rights.", "This is injustice.", "Someone should do something." but they never do anything but complain and call upon others. If someone intends to harm you, you better defend yourself, they don't care about your so-called rights. Remember, rights don't stop bullets.
